So this weekend a cheeky Rev4 arrived at Bodge Central for a bit of recommissioning and general making pretty for sale.
First job was a huge fry up, nobody should work on an empty stomach, and there's always a good supply of bacon, eggs and beans in kitchen.
To the BodgeLair!
Next job was to sort a rather annoying squeaky belt, which soon became clear was not the ancillary belt(s). We started digging and found that the tensioner pulley on the cam belt seemed to be moving a little jerkily. Sure enough it had practically seized up, meaning that the flat side of the belt had mostly been skidding on the pulley wheel, near destroying the belt in the process.
