Translation: New visitors here may be not aware that I am building a 1950 Studebaker truck and powering it with a Mustang Engine and gearbox. It's got a bespoke chassis and it will perform like a proper racing car! Bespoke, such a funny word the english use. It's right up there with 'trousers' - thats a word that I thought belonged in Enid Blyton stories about Mr Pinkwhistle. Funny english, how dare ye useth funny words.

Man you weld good. I'm always amazed at how you build some of these from air and awesomeness. Genius.

First- THANKS BUD!! I will say that welding is all about clean and shiny metal, slow wire speed and knowing when to let go of the trigger. There are better welders out there that will say I'm shit and they're probably right, but I'm not welding an aircraft- it's the floor of a rusty truck, so it's perfect hahaha!
I like to say that in welding, when I have a couple 1" sections that are very nice, I call them "Moments of brilliance" lol
I get started on something and I let the vehicle tell me what it wants. Then I tell it to fuck off because I've only got a little bit of money and even less time- so we compromise and I call it ART.
Hahaha... Guess what today is? - Back to Effing work today. You know my motto- "F#UCK plumbing".

That looks like a beast. I would love to do an American truck. But the cost would be insane over here. Does the engine bay have space for the shoe horn you used to squeeze thay mulp in there lol

I'm just amazed at how matter of fact it all looks, like it's just being reassembled, and not morphed from a rattley old farm vehicle into something cool as fuck and show worthy.
Imagine rolling up in this.....

So there's this: There's very little left to install in there. The radiator and the AC lines will all be hidden under the one cover, but the radiator itself will fill up the front nose area of the truck. I was feeling creative, I had this vision of "what if I did the air filter halfway sunk into the cover".. So I did it. It takes fresh air from the front grille- I'm adding two big circle shaped holes to the front of that core support, to take in fresh air. It's half of a real "Cold Air intake" lol
