So a while back, like six fricken months ago, BodgeWerks acquired an unfinished V6 MK2 along with a lot of other spares and stuff. It's been a great source of scavenging and fun poking for quite some time, although the car has tasted human blood so we are a little scared of it. So, kicked the car into the BodgeLair where we can start to get a better look at it. This vehicle has had a lot of fairly off piste tweaking, and I can't say I'm a fan. Mucked out the boot and removed the catch can to get a better idea what is or isn't helping. I have no idea where Chris was going with this....  |

Was it puffing out blueish smoke or black/greyish, Bodgemeister?
Blue would indicate burning oil and black/grey would be fuel, if it's only on start up your conclusion could be right and it needs a drop of additive good shagging from the loud pedal. That'll clear it's sinuses.
