Well, young Martin has shown us all how nice things can look when they are cleaned up and tarted up so I had a go myself. Not much I guess, but I'm happy with these bits. Gave them both a good rub down with the wire brush wheel, then used some etch primer. Used a Toyota metallic grey on the heat shield - next one I do won't be metallic, it looks ok just a waste being on a heat shield.... Cross member was finished with Halfords enamel grey, theres not much of a range when it comes to grey! Yeah, something got done in the garage of sloth finally, just need to do some more. Many projects, many twos.

Looking good, it's surprising how much of the heatshield you will see and having it shiny makes a difference. I really need to do my subframe but it's scabbier than a badgers arse so might just look for one in a better condition.
