Ok fella's some of you asked for this so dont blame me.
Im going to be loading the full build thread upto this point. There is quite a lot so will just be a few bits at a time.
It will mostly be copied from the original thread so when it looks like im talking to someone then i probably was and not just going a bit insane.
With all that over lets go back to the past.

Should probably start with an intoduction.
I have had my MK1 for 3 years now after it was handed down from my grandma.
Since then i have done alot of work to it and its slowly coming to the end of the work thats needed.
As i might have some spare time i was contimplating another project and a friend at work has been trying to sell me his MK2 for the past year or so since i started working there, and he made me an offer on it i couldnt say no to.
So a hearty welcome for Sky, the newest member of the family. :clapping:
The good
Engine sounds sweet(even though it had no oil in :shocked: )
Rear arches are good
Tin top import
The bad
The engine had no oil in
The paint work is peeliong and falling off
The interior has seen better days
The AC unit has no gas
The ugly
I think pictures will be the best way to explain
Drivers side sill

Passengers side wing
Passengers side sill
So the current list is as follows
2 new sills
PS front wing
Both door skins
Respray
Replacement interior probably change it to leather.
There might be a slight wait whilst i finish up my MK1 and get the engine back together but this will be getting over the pit in the next few weeks for a thorough assessment.
Im not 100% on the color scheme of the MK2's but looks sky blue to be, hence the nickname

one of the middle studs had siezed. Foam removed aswell, found that i had a passenger hiding down there too.
